Why all the fuss? For me?

Sarah went to big cousin Gracie’s birthday party today and took her old toys for a spin. She had about as much fun as a 4 month old kid can have. No matter what she tried nothing was as exciting as her bunny or her hands!!

All the pictures taken during the holiday season have been moved to the December 2004 page. See Sarah at her yuletide best on that page!!

If you look closely on that page you will even see some rare pictures of Sarah with her Mommy!!

“My 1st Thanksgiving and they wouldn’t even let me gum some mashed potatoes.”

"Stuffing, a biscuit, yams? Please."

Sarah is writing today’s update…

Yesterday was my very 1st Thanksgiving. I kept hearing about this turkey thing and boy did it smell good. My mommy and daddy put me in the neat chair that was high off the ground and wheeled me right over to the table! I saw all kinds of food and wanted to try it all. But they didn’t give me any, maybe next time.

Sometimes being a baby isn’t as fun as it could be. Getting attention is nice, having someone wipe your rear for you is a perk but not getting to eat food that smells so good is a huge letdown for a little girl like myself.

I am not even going to talk about the whole dessert thing that I missed either.

You can see pictures of me in my Thanksgiving dress (But I don’t do tights) on the November 2004 page. You will also see me in my Johnny Jumper too!!

If you want to see more of what I am up to join the mailing list and please sign the guestbook too.

Happy Halloween!!

Pumpkin, Schmumpkin!

This is Sarah in her pumpkin outfit. (She’s the sad pumpkin in the picture) She’s not so into the Halloween thing this year, but she’s cute nonetheless. She is a late night party girl and had a great time at Uncle John’s Halloween party!! She wasn’t the only pumpkin there, but she had some fun all the same!! Maybe next year it will be more fun for her.

To see more pictures of Sarah’s Pumpkin Photoshoot goto the October 2004 photopage!! There might be one or two where she isn’t making the poopy face!!

You can also see some pictures of Sarah playing with her “Pat The Bunny” that Aunt Jen and Uncle Dave gave to her!! (I promise that no babies were harmed in the taking of those pictures, according to mommy. It’s a nice rabbit)

There are some other new pictures there as well. She is starting to get bigger and get some chub on her legs and cheeks!! She’s not the little fragile petite thing she used to be!

While you are here please sign our guestbook.

Happy Halloween!!

My Daddy took me to Outback and all I got to do was sit and watch him eat cheese fries…

10-22-2004 (6.1).jpg

What's a steak?

Poor little Sarah was treated to her very 1st trip to Outback and could only watch the feast that was laid out before her. We are very proud parents because she was the only baby at the Outback on Friday night with hair and she didn’t cry or fuss at all!! (Look, she’s not even 3 months old yet so we have to pick little things to be happy and excited about!!)

Although she couldn’t have any, Sarah did take an interest in the cheese fries, watching them disappear one by one. !

Sarah also had a Dr.’s appointment on Friday as well. She now weighs in at 11 pounds 9 ounces and is 23 1/4″ long!! The doctor in addition said she is a little piggy and eats more than most kids her age. That’s my girl!!

Hip, Hip, Jorge!

Sarah was rootin’ and tootin’ hard for her favorite team, the New York Yankees last night and it paid off big time!!

Little did we know that in her first ever post season Sarah would watch the Yankees single-handedly dismantle the Red Sox pitching and put on a batting clinic up in Beantown. Perhaps Stephen King will write a book about it. (The ironly is Tom “Flash” Gordon was a Red Sox Pitcher and is now a Yankees reliever.)

Hopefully tonight Sarah will get to see the Yankees sweep the Red Sox right out of the playoffs and back into the absurd obscurity Bosox fans like to call the curse. 1918 anyone? I hear most Bosox fans are already talking about New England Patriots football, at least the sun is a little brighter in Foxboro.

There are a few more pictures of Sarah watching the Yankees game last night on October 2004. The game got so ugly even she couldn’t take it anymore at one point!!

What are you laughing at?

"My Daddy is funny looking!"

2 updates in one day. Woo-hoo!

Since we have had her it has been very hard to get a picture of Sarah smiling. (I say it like she is a new puppy or something…) The 1st problem is figuring out what on earth makes a newborn laugh? Turns out that yelling at the dog seems to do the trick. The 2nd problem is whenever she does smile or laugh the camera is someplace else and by the time Daddy gets it she is back to making that very serious and solemn poopy face.

But today we got lucky, Sarah was in a giggly mood and we got a few quick pictures before she went back to making meat and cheese in her diaper.

To see some really cute pictures of Sarah smiling head over October 2004. Some are a little blurry, but I put them up because they just capture the moment perfectly.

I have gotten some of my Asbury Park picture pages back, please head over to the Asbury Park page to check it out and the new logo I made for that page.

Things are falling in place

"You calling me chubby?"

OK, most of the pages and content are back online. It took some doing but at the same time I was able to reorganize the pages as well. I also gave everything a new look, I hope you like.

In addition, there are a bunch of brand new pictures of Sarah on the October 2004 page!! These are all pictures taken of Sarah since we moved to Asbury Park. She looks like she’s finally starting to chub up, in the cheeks anyway. Maybe by Thanksgiving she will actually fit into 0-3 month newborn clothes!!

As of this moment in time all the pages I had up of Asbury Park pictures are non-existent. Luckily all of the images are still stored on the server so I don’t have to reformat and resize all of the originals. They will be back up soon, I hope.

While you are hanging around here please sign our guestbook.

Attention Internet Explorer users:
You should do yourself a huge favor and dump IE for a better browser!! Even the U.S. government has suggested people stop using IE do to it’s many security holes and flaws. Personally I use Firefox. It is a clean streamlined browser created by the programmers who author Mozilla/Netscape. I can’t say enough about Firefox’s ease of use and great features like Tabbed Browsing. It is a superior browser in every way!! If you are using IE many parts of this page do not lay out correctly which is very strange since I am using Microsoft FrontPage 2003 to do all of the design work. (You would think that Microsoft’s products would play nicely together)

We’re working hard, ’cause it’s hard work.

Moving is hard...

There has been so much going on that I have had little time to manage this website!!

Somehow, I have managed to lose all the pages stored here. Well, not the content, all the images are on the server but the HTML or code has gone missing.

You might click on pages that just come up blank with nothing but a title. I don’t know how it happened, but I am working to restore it all as quickly as possible!!

This actually gives me a chance to reorganize the pages and update the look of the pages, please tell me what you think of it!! My original design was nice and simple, but very flat and plain. So, this is my attempt to make things look a little sharper.

If you want to be notified of when pages are back online or new content is added, join my mailing list and I will keep you posted.

We are all moved in and settled, everything is out of boxes at last and our new place feels like a home. (It’s finally more than a bed and a crib!!)

I want to say a huge THANK YOU to:
Uncle Jim – Your time, plastic and straps were invaluable.
Pete – You always come through when we need you.
Aunt Ma’shell – You continue to amaze me with your kindness.
Clint – It’s nice to know I can count on you.
Juan – You are strong like bull my friend.

"Please save me..."

Sarah had a doctor’s appointment today and we found out she has a 3rd hobby, outside of eating and pooping. It’s growing.

She is now 10 pounds 10 ounces and 22 1/8 inches long!! that’s up almost 3 pounds from the last visit!!

The doctor was very impressed with Sarah’s progress. She jumped up to the 50th percentile in weight for babies her age. (For those of you keeping track of these things.)

It looks like those 2 hour feeding sessions are paying off. Dad also gives her a bottle everyday, that’s 4 ounces in each bottle!! She is usually still hungry after that and Mom has to top her off afterwards!!

There have been some long nights lately, it’s amazing that a little baby can wake up every 2 hours, on the hour. 12:00am, 2:00am, 4:00am, 6:00am…

Looks like she can already tell time!!

In addition, Sarah can now hold her up on her own for long periods of time. She is very alert and active, looking all around with those eyes wanting to take everything in!

Please remember to fill out a page in our guestbook!!
